At the press conference held in Stuttgart during the R+T trade show, Dr. Claus Schwenzer, Chairman of the Association od Industrial Door and Gate Manufactures, offered his views on the industry´s future.
The German gates and doors industry saw the start of recovery in the spring of 2010. This comeback continued most impressively during 2011. Production in all the industry´s sectors rose by about a 14 percent by June of 2011, when compared to the same period in the previous year. "Order books are full, thanks to lively domestic demand and renewed interest by foreign customers."
