The ASO Info Day at the A2-Forum in Rheda- Wiedenbrück has been a constant since the first event in 2003. This forum for the door and gate industry has grown since then and was attended by over 100 participants for the fourth time in February 2010. This, if nothing else, was pivotal for bringing the Info Day to an international level. Thus, the UK Gate Safety Conference took place in Birmingham, Great Britain, for the first time on 27 October 2010. Just as with the German Info Day, ASO Safety Solutions now offers the British market a forum for gathering and exchanging information as well as a chance to have stimulating discussions.

E.D.S.F. working group meetings were successful – Common calculation basis of energy losses has to be found & Awareness building in the need and must of maintenance on power operated doors!
In mid of September 2010 the E.D.S.F. European Door and Shutter Federation e.V. met the first time after the decision at the General Assembly with its working groups: “Service and Maintenance” and “Energy and Sustainability”.
